– KPT Donates PCs to Special Needs School
Today KPT donated 2 PCs to Kelbourne Special Needs School in Glasgow. Kelbourne School is the oldest school of its kind in Glasgow: as a special needs school it supports children with disabilities ranging from muscular dystrophy to cerebral palsy.
Margaret McIntosh, Headteacher, explained to Sanjay Patel and John Falconer, founders of KPT, that "ages range from 2 years old in the nursery to 8 years of age. The school has 65 pupils but the special needs requirements mean there is a support staff of 44".
Sanjay Patel, CEO at KPT, observed that "Kelbourne school is an incredibly positive place to be in. The Teaching and Support Team are clearly motivated and you can see the children are very happy and thoroughly enjoy themselves".
KPT donated 2 PCs to give Kelbourne School staff more resources in the school library. John Falconer, KPT's CMO, added "it is heart warming to see the children in this caring environment but the school needs all the financial assistance it can get. KPT will continue to support the school and we hope other local businesses will join us".
